POV?[edit]

This article looks POV to me:

Past headteachers include infamous classics teacher David John.
The school is steeped in history
There is also a tree recorded in the Doomsday book, a tradition being to see how many year 7s can be fitted inside
Yet despite the beautiful surroundings on some areas of the campus
In which students are forced to learn
Its annual musical productions are renowned for their high standards and daring
The school has extensive behavioural problems. Anti-social behaviour and bullying is the norm. One reason for this maybe the lack of any good clear strategy to deal with the problem and a general "can't-do" attitude
The school also prides itself on the number of foreign trips it offers
The Sixth Form itself is famous for achieving good reults and providing a very slim chance for students aiming for Oxbridge
The only notable alumni are Supergrass

It might be a point of view but bullying in wheatley park is certainly the norm and I agree with the above comment having seen it there myself. 3dom 00:09, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alot of the negative points of view have been added by someone obviously very bitter...

Article does not cite sources or references (as mentioned above), and frequently uses Weasel words. No idea who wrote it, but it's not very good and definitely could use improvement. Added a "references and sources" warning and a "weasel words" warning. Abstractium

Ofsted report[edit]

Surely it is significant that the school has recently been rated as "unsatisfactory" by Ofsted and is now in special measures, along with the ensuing controversy of the Oxford Mail's front page headline of "school fails 1,170 pupils"?
