1950 Whisper program[edit]

According to the article there was also a somewhat relevant program in US Military:

During the 1950’s the United States Army had established program WHISPER to develop a completely noiseless, flashless, and smokeless small arms round of ammunition for existing conventional firearms

however the information is lacking and probably this Wiki article should be expanded to clarify its difference with that program.--vityok (talk) 11:06, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
