Disputing classification as English politician[edit]

Reading through the above article and more particularly the DNB article (currently being transcribed), I would disagree that this is a typical politician/parliamentarian. While he spent a small proportion of his public life in parliament, much of the remainder seems to be in more public service types role

    • clerkship of the privy council
    • envoy roles
    • servant of the crown or the lead powers of the crown (eg. Walsingham)

Propose to rename WAAD[edit]

Majority of references for the period refer to as William WAAD, with only occasional WADE. I propose to rename to William Waad, and have a direct from William Wade. -- billinghurst (talk) 17:24, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
