Salisbury Park and Ride[edit]

After over 20 edits to this page, I finally noticed that this wasn't covered anywhere, so I've given it a subsection under Routes. I also uploaded some images of vehicles operating on it and used them too. What I've put is probably enough for this article, but the list of routes article could do with more depth. If anyone could add something to it that would be helpful. Alzarian16 (talk) 19:36, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that had definitely been overlooked. Thanks for sorting it out and for the pictures. Arriva436talk/contribs 23:45, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New Logo needed[edit]

The New Wilts & Dorset Logo needs to be sourced, think you can get it off www.wdbus.co.uk, also anyone feels like a task for getting reds logo as I am not too familiar with putting logos on Wiki Commons at moment.

All up to date[edit]

All pictures and text have been updated where needed due to some being so out of date like "Pulseline" was still there even though the "Sailsbury Reds" are here.

Hope I have help make the article bit more updated and not caused too many problems.

Kind Regards,

More Bus & Salisbury Reds Merge[edit]

As More Bus and Salisbury Reds Buses are trading names of Wilts & Dorset Bus Company Limited, rather than operators, suggest all three be consolidated into the Wilts & Dorset article.Mo7838 (talk) 09:31, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nom, As they're branded routes not sub divisions (IE not W&D Salisbury or W&D Bournmouth),
It seems more logical merging... →Davey2010→→Talk to me!→ 15:35, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

This was discussed above, but this is a case where WP:BRANCH and WP:COMMON NAME conflict. I wonder if the title could be something like "More/Salisbury Reds". !dave 09:49, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Separation of pages[edit]

The previous merger of the More and Salisbury Reds pages should be reversed. Wilts and Dorset is officially a dormant company, with More and Salisbury Reds being brands of Go South Coast (just like Bluestar, in that Solent Blue Line is also officially dormant). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.6.103.31 (talk) 18:59, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I agree it is too much to take in they should separate them. 95.149.159.242 (talk) 20:38, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I concur. - CS46 21:47, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Really all the sub brands should just be merged into Go South Coast, but that would require an extensive re-write to avoid losing anything useful Mainline421 (talk) 22:03, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that it should be split into two too, if we are to show the other GSC operators separately, then we should also be listing morebus and Salisbury Reds separately. It would be far too large an article to list all of them within 1 without losing significant detail, so it would be better to move towards a split morebus and Salisbury Reds. Class444SWRail (talk) 16:17, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think some sort of split is needed, as I don't believe the current operations fit under the overall article heading, which is for a historical company. I would like to expand some of the historical sections, but the article is already rather unwieldy, so I've shied away from doing so. I must confess I'm not yet a confident enough editor to attempt any sort of split (especially as it isn't obvious what to move where), but I definitely support a restructure, however it's done.
