High School versus School District[edit]

Some of the information on this page would seem to make more sense on the Woodland Hills High School page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dunnette (talkcontribs) 06:51, 21 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Reputation/Crime[edit]

None of the events in the Reputation and Crime article are referenced at all. These two sentences are especially nebulous: "Most students say they have become used to the bomb threats, fights, riots, arrests, gang violence, and numerous other illicit activities that occur on a daily basis within Woodland Hills. Students have come to expect a certain level of chaos within their schools and must learn to get through the school day without getting involved in some sort of altercation." Who are "most of these students"? How do we know they said this, and when did they say it? Where is evidence that bomb threats, fights, riots, arrests, gang violence, and "numerous other illicit activities" occur in the school district every day, as this writer claims? These are only some examples; errors like this occur throughout the entire section. The author of this material is writing with the intent to vilify the school district, which violates the NPOV policy. This is nowhere near the standard of quality that we should expect from Wikipedia, and this section should either be referenced by respectable sources or deleted. 136.167.194.207 (talk) 22:50, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a sophmore at the high school so I don't know all that much but I can tell you some things

there are some what common fights at the school there is no gang violence there has been a bomb threat AND a riot where a teacher was hospatalized and several students were arrested (one or two were tazered) the most "illicit activities" I know of would be posession of tobacco products and in a few rare cases posession of cannibis the bus I ride to techincal school used to be known to have people smoke in the back it was usually tobacco based products but people have been known to bring weed.

whoever said that my school is basically a building full of illegal activities and gang violence is highly misunderstood but you are also mistaken if you think my school is a great place to be 69.72.15.233 (talk) 02:57, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Crime section[edit]

I deleted the Crime section again. It is SERIOUSLY biased and is clearly just being written by someone with a grudge against the school district. Would they care to explain how they know that students have gotten used to daily disruptions of chaos and constant fighting? I sure didn't notice any of that when I was a student there. Are they now interviewing students? They can put the section back when it includes some references and less inflammatory language. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.111.247.242 (talk) 02:10, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Complaint received from Woodland Hills School District's local paper OTRS ticket 2007112010005085[edit]

I left the following curt note after this issue hit OTRS,

"Do not repeatedly insert defamatory and unsourced material into Woodland Hills School District. All information on Wikipedia must be adequately sourced or contentious allegations may be removed on sight.

WP:CITE will give you information on how you may cite reputable sources to back up your allegations. Should you be unable to find reputable sources refrain from reinserting the material." --Brianmc 20:59, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
