No Information Allowed[edit]
I've noticed there's a lot of dislike for actual information being put down on this article. Attempts to explain the concepts of Xyz Monsters are always removed despite the fact that the 5D's article has two sections dedicated to Synchro Monsters and Duel Runners. This kinda leaves out a lot of things for people, particularly those who watch the shows but aren't interested in the trading card game. I know there's apparently this thing about not being a game guide but you need to leave something to explain to people. Same seems to go for mentioning of opening themes, which are perfectly fine in every other anime article, ever.Wonchop (talk) 18:13, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
- Opening and ending themes are placed in episode articles. I didn't remove the XYZ monster information and you skipped over the edit that removed it so I assumed you were fine with it. 5Ds is an overdetailed article which needs to be cleaned up. - In almost every other anime article, opening and ending themes get listed, even if they are also placed in the episode lists. Kinda seems unfair to leave that kind of information for people to seek out in sub-articles. Personally I think the 5D's article has good enough detail that explains the things that can't really be explained in other articles. - Those are not good articles to be following. See Tokyo Mew Mew, an FA, or Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. As for the characters in GX, they can be merged unless they have established notability (WP:Notability); Most likely no editor has done it as of late. See List of Naruto characters, a featured list. See here where I have discussed about your edits. As for the theme music, you can always create a discography page such as Case Closed discography. - If you look at the history of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, you can see that the soundtrack information was first developed in the main article, before apparently being split off into the music article. I feel this article would also benefit from this approach, as the article is new, and needs time to undergo the editing process. I Dont Know Why but ZEXAL is Still On Going Starting with the show's fourth arc, the show was advertised under the name Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL II (pronounced zay-al [IPA: zeɪal] sekando in Japanese, pronounced zek-sul second in English), but both NAS and TV Tokyo classify it as the same show, with the episode numbers continuing from where it was left off instead of returning to the start. - Why are you capitalizing in the wrong places? Anyways, TV Tokyo does the same thing for Naruto shippuden and Gintama where they continue the numbers. Meanwhile List of The World God Only Knows episodes restarts the number count but an editor chooses to add a series number in there since they continue the story. - Although Zexal II is a series all by itself, I concede that the show is a direct continuation of Zexal. That is why I changed the episode count for Zexal II to make the chronological sequence flow more smoothly. However, it turns out that not everybody is happy about this change (although this was to be expected). I had to revert several unexplained edits by an IP in order to keep the changes, but hopefully things will work out. LightandDark2000 (talk) 22:51, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

Title[edit]
Shouldn't the title be Yu-Gi-Oh! Zeal, not Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal? The WP:MOSTM states "Avoid using special characters that are not pronounced, are included purely for decoration...". Though written ZEXAL, the X is purely for decoration, as is obvious from both the logo and the kana. It could just have easily been a different symbol, like a heart: ZE♥AL. It's the same thing with the X in Hunter × Hunter, though in that case, Wikipedia uses multiplication sign. Linkdude20002001 (talk) 21:34, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
