Removed comments on Lead

[edit]

I removed these comments because lead is not an essential component of the secret yunzi stone formulation. Yellow Mountain Imports, an importer of yunzi in the United States, specifies certain shapes and sizes of yunzi which contained lead circa 2007, and others that did not (http://ymimports.com/yunzinotice.html).

(I was personally interested in this because I play with children, and would not want them to play with stones that contain any lead. However, according to Yellow Mountain Imports, my stones are not known to contain lead. My stones are a common shape (standard size double-convex/Japanese).)

Secret composition

[edit]

"[T]he exact composition is a secret" -- kept by whom? How can that be a secret? Is there only a handful of ancient oath keepers producing these for the worldwide supply? This could use some elaboration. -- 79.202.111.175 (talk) 07:16, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

... er, and the article does elaborate, though only a bit later. "According to Chinese law, the yunzi stones can only be produced by the state run Yunzi company[.] The formula is thought to be ground Yunnan mountain stones and agate." Sorry about the noise. -- 79.202.111.175 (talk) 07:20, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
