Wrath of God?[edit]

"The Wrath of God" was not a Zapata western; although it had some similar themes. The movie was a parody on the Catholic Church, it was almost a comedy. The book was rather grim. It was set in 1922 Central America (In the book, it was post-revolutionary 1922 Mexico.) Zapata westerns, by definition, have to take place in Mexico between 1910-1920.68.231.184.217 (talk) 13:08, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Wild Bunch?[edit]

What about Peckinpah's contribution? The settings, the storyline, the characters and their action, all fits perfectly to be a zapata.

I guess, way too big, must have its own genre? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.115.60.246 (talk) 10:16, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources and original resource tags[edit]

I put a "reliable sources" tag on this article. There are only two sources for this article, Spaghetti Westerns: Cowboys and Europeans from Karl May to Sergio Leone, a book published in London (!), and a biography of Clint Eastwood. I'm going to put an original research tag on this one, too. This reads like a couple of college sophomores riffing about westerns. Chisme (talk) 18:41, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
