Template:Hungarian county region/doc

Usage

{{Hungarian county region|county_name}}

Maps the name of a Hungarian county (as defined at Counties of Hungary) to the name of the region it is in (as defined at NUTS of Hungary). It does not Wikilink the names; but this can be done simply by including them in square brackets. The input to the template is not case-sensitive.

Example

Pest is in the region of [[{{Hungarian county region name|Pest}}]]

produces:

Pest is in the region of Central Hungary

Maintenance

The choice not to make the output a link automatically was made to avoids overlinking if the name is used more than once in an article. It also makes it easier for the output of the template to be used as the input for others.
