Label[edit]

I'm about to switch the |above= and |subheader= fields, so that the template (and the emitted HTML table) are correctly labelled with the name of the race, to improve accessibility. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 15:30, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This should include spaces for the last race and the upcoming race, like they have for seasons in the sports league infobox. And it should include spaces for the dates of the last race and the upcoming race, like they have in the holiday infobox. I'd put the dates with the links to the articles for the last and upcoming races. Burner89751654 (talk) 17:35, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I endorse this idea. The infobox on Kentucky Derby (e.g.) seems incomplete without fields like this. Stefen Towers among the rest! GabGruntwerk 19:09, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It appears I can add these features, but I'd like to see if there are any objections and that we have a consensus before doing so. I'd also have to figure this out, technically speaking. Stefen Towers among the rest! GabGruntwerk 19:12, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like there are no objections, so go ahead. * Pppery * it has begun... 22:21, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
