Gabardine [edit]
I was under the impression that it was a type of fabric, not a weave-it is made with a twill weave, no? So twill would be the type of weave, and gabardine the type of fabric? Did I get that wrong? Loggie (talk) 17:33, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Chiné/warp printing? [edit]
Does warp printing/chiné qualify as a weaving technique? It seems to be a pretty equal cross-over between weaving and printing as it uses both techniques. Shot silk is certainly a weaving technique so I'm going to add it, but not sure about warp printing - I am inclined to say it counts as weaving, though. Mabalu (talk) 11:55, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
