9th Grade Academy

Beginning in the 2006-2007 school year, incoming freshmen were housed in the FOCUS Academy. This allowed new students to get familiar with their surroundings and obtain a better focus on their academics, while using the main building for their electives. In the 2009-2010 school year, the FOCUS Academy began an AVID Program. Currently, the academy has been transformed into a mixed use hall (designated E Hall in accordance to tradition of other halls A, B, C, and D). E Hall is home to a significant number of Advanced Placement courses, and many of TCCHS' honors and advanced courses. Foreign and classical languages are also located on the hall.

Library expansion

A new library was opened in mid-January 2009. The facility is a 10,000 square feet structure that is designed in the contemporary style.
