Dying with dignity refers to end-of-life care which promotes the dignity of the person who is about to die. Common themes in discussing dying with dignity are autonomy, respect, right to die, existential satisfaction, palliative care, preserving meaningful relationships, medical privacy, and providing a calm environment for death.[1]
