Tropical Storm Norbert was the 15th tropical cyclone and 14th named storm of the 2008 Pacific hurricane season.

Meteorlogical History of Norbert[edit]

Norbert formed on October 3 from a broad low pressure system off the south coast of Mexico. It strengthened into a tropical storm late October 4.

As of 2 p.m. PDT (2100 UTC) October 6, Tropical Storm Norbert is located within 30 nautical miles of 14.5°N 105.3°W, about 325 mi (525 km) south of Manzanillo, Colima. Maximum sustained winds are 60 knots (70 mph, 110 km/h), with stronger gusts. Minimum central pressure is 990 mbar (29.23 inches), and the system is moving WNW at 7 kt (8 mph, 13 km/h).
