Meteorlogical History of Norbert[edit]
Norbert formed on October 3 from a broad low pressure system off the south coast of Mexico. It strengthened into a tropical storm late October 4.

Maximum sustained winds are 60 knots (70 mph, 110 km/h), with stronger gusts. Minimum central pressure is 990 mbar (29.23 inches), and the system is moving WNW at 7 kt (8 mph, 13 km/h).
