非实体研究中心[edit]

非 实体研究中心是经我校批准，依托所在单位、不设专职研究人员，不具有法人资格，经费自筹，接受学校统一 管理的科学研究机构。设立非实体研究中心的目的，是为具有研究专长和兴趣的教学科研人员提供研究平台，为学校学术团队的成长提供土壤，为学术骨干的成长创 造条件。我校目前共有20个非实体研究中心，他们分布在语言、管理、经贸、法学等学科。
2006年3月10日上午10：30分，我院新近审批的5个非实体研究中心负责人，在1号教学楼809会议室召开工作会议。

国际服务贸易暨国际文化贸易研究中心主任李小牧副校长认为：非实体不等于不干实事；非实体研究中心是开展科研的 平台和是工具，要充分利用这个舞台打造一个交叉使用校内外研究资源的平台；非实体研究中心要重视“特色”，要有标志性成果。该中心还向大家展示了一批以中 心名义出版的研究成果。
语言与认知研究中心主 任齐振海教授介绍，他所在的研究中心是站在自然科学的角度，以认识科学为理论基础、以心理 语言学为研究路径、以语言研究为目标的研究团队。无论在理论或者应用上中心的研究都很有价值；所在中心团队意识强、创新意识强，所获得的前期成果通过试验 取得可喜的成绩。他们介绍了下一步的工作方向：扩大研究规模，努力建成国际语言与认知研究基地。
韩玉灵处长总结了2008-2009 学年非实体研究中心的工作。过去的一年，管理部门制定了非实体研究中心的管 理办法，与20个非实体研究中心签订了科研任务协议书；学校尝试对有研究潜力和研究实力的非实体研究中心进行经费投入，有针对性地扶持一批研究中心。经过 一年的建设，20个非实体研究中心的研究人员共出版专著25部，译著7部，教材7部，核心期刊论文85篇，普通论文115篇；承担省部级项目7项，举办学 术会议6次，学术沙龙1次；建立了新的研究基地（饭店）；完善研究网站3个及若干数据库。


BWA University Network[edit]

In 2013, Beijing Literary Federation (BFLAC) and Beijing Writers Association (BWA) jointly established their first ever University-based Writers Network (Chinese: 驻校作家基地) at BISU.[1]

The Network is built upon the partnership formed between the two organisations and the School of International Communication of the University. It aims to explore innovative ways to promote literary arts on campus, as well as to nurture talent in contemporary literature. The city-based columnist and news reporter Liu Yida—also the Standing Committee representative of the Beijing Journalists Association—also joined the faculty as Adjunct Professor and more expertise sharing programs on literature and journalism are to come.[2]

It is also believed that BISU's traditional strength in foreign languages and translation studies will facilitate the newly launched China Dream intiatives.[3]
