Dhruv Kalra (born November 11, 1985) is a 26 year-old Indian-American male, born in Chandigarh, India and a graduate at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND. Dhruv's hometown is Rochester, MN. He is currently pursuing a career as a professional Air Traffic Controller with the Federal Aviation Administration, but is also known around the web as a creator of aircraft add-ons for the X-Plane flight simulator. Dhruv currently contributes to several X-Plane communities, including X-Plane.org, and co-founded the X-Plane add-on development company XP Jets in January, 2007.
Dhruv currently holds an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Single-Engine Land/Multi-Engine Land/Instrument privileges, along with an FAA Flight Instructor Certificate with Airplane Single-Engine/Multi-Engine/Instrument privileges.
