Fuse Universal is a global Learning Solutions Company based in Shoreditch, London. The business supplies an online platform which is utilised for storing and sharing information of the work place and technology, primarily in video format. Their platform can be accessed on any internet enabled device.Outside the online platform they offer management and leadership consultancy services.
The business operate a social enterprise called ‘The Fuse School’[1] which is a non-profit organisation delivering educational videos to children and adults across the world via YouTube[2] and its own platform.

Current CEO of Fuse, Steve Dineen, started the business originally as a not for profit organisation developing learning solutions for those without access to GCSE education. This would originally be known as The Virtual School, but more recently renamed FuseSchool.
Once FuseSchool was created the business developed a corporate arm which used a similar structure to offer its learning solutions software for internal use at businesses[3]. This arm of the company is known as simply ‘Fuse’.
Products and Services[edit]
Fuse sell licences of its online learning platform to other businesses. The application allows individuals to create and share content within different communities and ask questions[4]. This content can be in the form of video, image or text documents which can be commented on, liked and shared. As part of Fuse’s big focus on video content they provide an on-screen recording and editing-suite for users to capture and edit video. The purpose of the software is to increase information accessibility within a company by recording and sharing examples of best practice or discussions from experts in the same industry[5]. The Fuse system can be accessed from any internet enabled device, such as a smartphone, tablet, computer, or laptop[6]
The company also offer a video content creation service called ‘Fuse Create’ which designs and sells videos for other businesses to use internally or externally. These videos are created for use on a variety of web based video platforms.
‘Fuse Consult’ is a consultancy service offered by the company and is focused on analysing and evaluating business practices to achieve better work performance and structure.
The company have worked with a large number of organisations, including Panasonic[7], Samsung[8], Dixons Retail and BT[9].
Another extension of the Fuse business is their charity called ‘The Fuse School’, an e-learning platform designed to offer education in video format to children and adults worldwide. Teachers are involved in the creation of this content and learning plans are incorporated to evaluate what areas of study the student is strongest and weakest at. Similar to the Fuse platform, this service can be accessed on any internet enabled device.
Awards and Distinctions[edit]
In 2010, e.Learning Age named Fuse the winner of the Gold award for outstanding achievement for a corporate at the E-learning Awards.[10]
In 2011, e.Learning Age named Fuse the winner of the Bronze award for most innovative new learning hardware or software product at the E-learning Awards.[11][12]
