Sand Point Country Club is a private country club located in the View Ridge neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, that is noted for being the only country club in the city of Seattle to offer golf, swimming and tennis.
The club was founded in 1927 on a bluff overlooking Lake Washington and has a 18-hole golf course designed by one of the Northwest’s preeminent early-day golf architects, Francis L. The course runs 6,040 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71, has a rating of 69.8, and a slope rating of 129 on blue grass.[1] The club also has an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a wading pool, four outdoor and lighted tennis courts, a 24/7 fitness center, a full-service dining room & lounge, and banquet facilities. The club house, built in 1927 and expanded several times throughout the years (most recently in 2008), has panoramic views of Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains[2]. The club is located in a private housing development with the same name.
