Jaceknow, this brings back memories of when when I was newbie and asked why Wikipedia can't be used as a ref. You don't need to go the ref route... just simplify what you are currently doing. Do Johannes Faber ([[:de:Johannes Faber|]]) in the article and leave off the ref part. This does bring up an age old question. Is it better to have an interwiki link to a foreign language or leave it red? Bgwhite (talk) 06:34, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
@Jaceknow: Another option is to use {{link-interwiki|en=Johannes Faber|lang=de|lang_title=Johannes Faber}} to generate Johannes Faber [de] if you want. GoingBatty (talk) 23:28, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
