Jörg Rech

I'm the Founder and CEO of Techmap.io - a workplace search engine that helps people find companies using specific technologies in their region. Developers, students, or freelancers can search for companies using technologies they love and apply via a speculative application.

Previously, I was Co-Founder and CTO of Talentwunder where I was responsible for driving the company’s technology vision. Before that I freelanced as a software engineer in Germany in the IT sector and am interested in the startup scene, building lean startups, developing new interesting software, and conducting academic research.

From my research career I hold a Ph.D. from the University of Hildesheim and have authored over forty articles for journals and conferences, most of them on software engineering, semantic technologies, knowledge management, and data mining.
