Susan McIntosh Lewis, née Susan Gail McIntosh, who writes as "egregious", was site administrator and editor for the political blog Firedoglake and was part of the team that liveblogged the Scooter Libby trial in 2007.

She was founder and chairman of Russian Medical Fund, which supported newborn heart surgery in St. Petersburg, Russia 1996 - 2008. Before raising children she worked as a Business Manager at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston 1977 - 1981 and was Member and Chairman of the Wayland, Massachusetts Board of Health 1984-86.

McIntosh has an A.B. from Cornell University, 1973; an M.Sc.P.H. in public health from Johns Hopkins University in 1977; and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School in 1977. She is the mother of three grown children. She married (1) Michael Angelo D'Amato, div.; (2) Mark Owen Lewis.
