RajShri Rai is law graduate & Indian journalist and also a well known entrepreneur in the media industry. She is a managing director and serves as the editor in chief of APN news (Sobhagya Pvt. Ltd.). She is also a founder of the India legal ENC group. She has been named on the list of 100 “Phenomenal Woman” framed by the Indian National Association[3] in 2017.

Early life and education[edit]

Rajshri was born on 15 November, at Buxar ( Bihar ). She had her initial schooling in Bihar. She completed her graduation from Magadh University. She exhibited strong leadership qualities since childhood. She completed her academic work to earn a post-graduate diploma in journalism from the Indian Institute Of Mass Communication. After post-graduation, she completed her LLB from Allahabad University.

Career[edit]

In 1997 she initiated her career in journalism as a reporter in HT (Patna). Since 1997, she has been working in the television news industry. Lah Sahara TV. She was assigned as a principal correspondent and assigned as a mainstream role as a news anchor on NDTV. In 2001, she established her production house ENC Pvt. Ltd[4]. and produced shows like (Mantri Ji Hazir Hai, Shakhsiyat ) for Doordarshan. In 2007, she began her print ventures India’s First Legal Magazine/journal views on News, (Akbari). After that, she started the APN news channel[5] in 2013.

Now, the group has five print products, 2 News channels, Mobile web, and Mobile portals, a leading classical music label, and a book publishing arm.

Award and recognition[edit]

Rajshri Rai was awarded as “ Most trusted TV host for legal shows” by “Indian Society Of International Law”. She was awarded the “International Institute of Human Rights Society” for her exceptional and outstanding work and reporting on Human Rights. In 2005, she was among 50 Indians who were 30 or younger and listed for their” Achievements And Impact On Society”. In 2017, she was named on the list of 100” Phenomenal Women “ compiled by the Indian National Bar Association.

Personal life[edit]

Rajshri Rai is married to Pradeep Rai, a well known senior lawyer with the honorable Supreme Court Of India. He is the President of the Indian Legal Research Foundation and a member Of the “Supreme Court Bar Association Of India “.
