Donaghadee Football Club (Dee FC) is a Northern Irish football club based in Donaghadee, playing in Divison 2 of the Boys Brigade Old Boys Union Football League. The club was founded in 2008. Their home ground is located at Cromelin Park (locally known as the Dam Field) Donaghadee. The team is currently managed by Ricky Robinson and Mark Carlisle with Jonny Clapham serving as first team coach. In addition to their first XI, Dee FC also fields a reserve team managed by Ross Hegan and Ray King. The 2nd XI currently play in tne BBOB Division 4.

History[edit]

In June 2008, Michael, Ricky and Aaron Robinson met up along with Ross Hegan, Johnny Clapham, Andrew Cockcroft, and Michael & Mark Carlisle in The Moat Inn, adjacent to the team's current home ground. The friends decided that Donaghadee should have a football team again, to give the local lads something to put their energy into. They also wanted to give the football loving town a team they could be proud of. Donaghadee Football Club was born. In the clubs first season they were accepted into the Boys Brigade Old Boys Union Football League. The club adopted the playing name of Donaghadee YM and are currently closely associated with Donaghadee Methodist Church.

In the clubs second season the reputation of the club lead to an influx of players. This allowed the club to field a second XI for the first time.

The first XI are currently undefeated and sit top of Division 2 with 40 points from a possible 42.
