Thuam Cin Khai is the youngest son of the late Mr. Kham Khua Khai and Ms. Khai Khua Cing. Thuam from Voklaak village, near Siallum fortress, Chin State, Myanmar. Thuam is married to Mang Lam Nuam-Khai on May 29, 1997. Mr. Thuam and Mrs. Mang Nuam-Khai are blessed with (5) daughters and (1) son. They are Rachael Cing, Grace Huai, Mary, Hanbah Pau, Sarah Nuam Khais, and Joseph Thuam Khai.

Thuam earned degrees from Myanmar, Korea, Philippines and United States.
