October 2022[edit]

Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. At least one of your edits on the page Chronology of the Bible, while it may have been in good faith, was difficult to distinguish from vandalism. To help other editors understand the reason for the changes, you can use an edit summary for your contributions. You can also take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Moops T 19:24, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

November 2022[edit]

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Weight plate, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Adakiko (talk) 23:54, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The hole standard is 1-inch and 2-inches. If you tried to put a plate with a 50mm hole on a 1-inch bar, it wouldn't go. Maybe 25.4mm and 50.8mm. If so, please cite a source. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 23:55, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

BCE to BC[edit]

Hello, I'm Bobsd. I noticed that you have been making many changes to the date style of pages. BC/AD BCE/CE are both acceptable, but once a style has been established, changing to the alternate style, without having consensus to do so, is biased. Please refer to MOS:ERA Thank you.

An article's established era style should not be changed without reasons specific to its content; seek consensus on the talk page first (applying Wikipedia:Manual of Style § Retaining existing styles) by opening a discussion under a heading using the word era, and briefly stating why the style should be changed.  • Bobsd •  (talk) 04:30, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Arbitrarily changing meters (m) to millimeters (mm)[edit]

Hello, I'm Bobsd. Please refrain from changing existing measurements from meters, to millimeters, as you did on R-7 Semyorka, and a dozen more. It does nothing to improve the article nor improve clarity. Changing "The R-7 was 3.4m (1,300 in) long, 10.3m (410 in) in diameter" to "The R-7 was 34,000 mm (1,300 in) long, 10,300 mm (410 in) in diameter" makes the sentence harder to parse.

I assume you mean well by your edits, but most of them have consisted of changing BC to BCE, meters to millimeters, and several "spelling" corrections, which were in fact acceptable alternate spellings of the word. Again, if a style has already been established for a page (For example British spelling; colour, humour, centre ...), wholesale changes should be discussed first on the talk page. Thank you for your cooperation.  • Bobsd •  (talk) 05:28, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
