Vanity Article Creation[edit]

Next time you create a vanity article for yourself, you will be blocked. If your article keeps getting deleted, there is a reason. If the page has to be creation protected that should be another sign there is something wrong. Perhaps you can include some of the content on your user page, but it does not appear to be worthy of an article. Chrislk02 Chris Kreider 14:22, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In response to the message left on my talk page, Wikipedia is not a webhost. It is not a place for posting a resume, it is not for advertising, it is not for promotion of any kind. Please read the conflict of interest guideline carefully. If you would like to contribute to the encyclopedia in a positive manner, check out the welcome page. Thanks. Okay, repost the article here: User:Allanbonner/Allan Bonner and I'll take a look at it. BradV 14:47, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The other thing, is this a role account? We have a limit of one person per account, and usernames are not supposed to be promotional in nature. If you are Allan Bonner's assistant and you are editing in order to promote Allan Bonner, using the name Allan Bonner, you must change your username. You can post a request at WP:CHU and someone will do that for you. BradV 14:52, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
