Speedy deletion nomination of Cochasquí[edit]

Rickenbacker[edit]

Anidaat - You have made a change to the Rickenbacker article where you say his family came from Zeglingen in Switzerland. How do you know this? His autobiography and other biographical information that I have seen simply says Switzerland, not Zeglingen. To make such a change you MUST tell us how you know this. You do this by providing a citation so we can check it out too. Everything said in Wikipedia must be verifiable. I just listened again 1 hour to a national radio broadcast program that I thought that it had been mentioned. Unfortunately it was not the broadcasting where I had heard it. Without even knowing, when I wrote it, I noticed today, that someone else put the same in the german article in December. This is NOT where I got it from. So there must have been some information around. On http://www.hls-dhs-dss.ch/famn/index.php you can see that the name was known in 7 communities before 1800, one of which was Zeglingen. (just write Rickenbacher into the search field). The german article of the town gives them as from Zeglingen but as well - no reference.
