Mother's Day[edit]

Mother's Day (United States) was split from Mother's Day for the purpose of giving more detailed coverage to the US, and only to the US (hence the name). It doesn't cover countries that are nearby (geographically or culturally) to the US. It doesn't cover countries that celebrate the holidays in a similar manner. If we did that, we would just be repeating things from Mother's Day and watering down the US-specific article with content not related to the US. Thanks for your good intention, anyways. I you have details about Canada, please add them to Mother's_Day#Canada. --Enric Naval (talk) 16:16, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
