Commons upload request

Hi Bidgee, I notice that you have uploaded a number of images on Wikipedia and linked that image to Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. A number of editors are currently attempting to catalogue a full list of images on commons at Towns of the Riverina, New South Wales and your images would be a great addition to that catalogue. When you come back from your break, if you are willing could you please upload your images to Commons (unless you already have) and then link it to the Wagga town page that they relate to? You will need an account at Commons to do this. If you need any help please just ask and I will be happy to assist where I can. --VS talk...images 23:51, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Darwin Rail Terminal Photo Request

Hi Bidgee, I've been told that you live in Darwin and are a fairly keen photographer. I'm in the process of refining the routes of the Great Southern Railway stations in Australia, and I'd love to start a page on the Darwin Railway Station in Berrimah. I was wondering that if you have time at some stage whether you'd like to go down to the railway station and take a photo for Wikipedia? I'd prefer one without a train sitting in the platform if that's possible. Any help you could give would be great. Thanks heaps. JRG 06:25, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

Bit of a crazy situation hey. I'll have a think about this one during the day and respond a little later. I don't think they have any claim to copyright IMHO, but I may be wrong. The cars are not identifiable as you say. -- Longhair\talk 00:58, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Thats a brilliant article you've posted to the talk page above. Pretty much sums up everything I was thinking regarding this image and the recent complaints. My initial thoughts of this morning were along the lines of "so be it, what harm has been done" and that article only reinforces my view. I'd leave the image as is and not bend to the demands to remove it on such flimsy grounds. I see no harm arising from that image being online. I suspect there's trolls at work... -- Longhair\talk 11:54, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Are you the photographer who took this picture? It seems to be from here where there is a copyright notice saying, "All images remain the property of Robert Myers and may not be reproduced without permission." That conflicts with the license given on the image's description page. If it is your picture and you intend to publish it on Wikipedia (and derivatives) with a requisite more liberal license, perhaps you should be more explicit as to your rights to the image so as not to confuse poor folks like me. (On the other hand, if it's not your image, you must either document an explicit grant of permission from the rights holder or have it removed from Wikipedia.) Thanks. --Kbh3rdtalk 18:01, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Yanco Powerhouse Museum, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

Your revert to Bushfire

Hello. I just ran across your revert [1] on the Bushfire article. Did you really intend to revert in statements like "DANNY IS THE BEST CUNT IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD" and "U ARE SO GAY FOR READING THIS CRAP!!!" back into the article?!? --Kralizec! (talk) 05:58, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

No worries. I just wanted to double-check. Thanks for the speedy reply! --Kralizec! (talk) 06:20, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
