Request[edit]

Hi, Boardroom09. I want to ask you not to edit the Princess Marcella Borghese page any more. I know it's a couple of months since you did, and I'm not suggesting you did anything inappropriate even then. But you have a possible conflict of interest (please click on that link and read the guideline), over and above your legitimate interest as a relative of the subject, and the way the article has developed since you were last there, it would be better to leave it wholly to uninvolved editors. Especially since your adversary has got themselves blocked, so they can't edit it. This is not a formal article ban — I think those are best kept for editors who have shown a tendency to edit inappropriately — just a request, but I hope you won't have a problem with it. Feel free to post on the article's talkpage. For instance, if you should see any error of fact posted to the article, you can ask on article talk for some uninvolved editor to remove it. Hi Bishonen, I will comply to your request. My goal was to make sure that my grandmother's page was accurate as I'm sure this is what she would want (she died in 2002). I was finding many inaccuracies with her history including even the place she was born. I just felt it was necessary to include the correct information. The other information I included about her business career, how she started the Borghese brand, who owned it, etc. was all factual information as well which can be found on the internet. My sole purpose is to make sure that Wikipedia remains a dependable and accurate source of historical information and for that reason, i felt it was necessary to monitor my grandmother's page. Re: your removal of an old post on Talk:Princess Marcella Borghese[edit]

Hi, Lorenzo. I see you removed your old post on the Princess' talkpage. That's fine by me, since I happen to know you're the same person (as stated on your userpage), but please use edit summaries to explain your edits, especially if you remove stuff. Somebody who happened to see a removal of an old talkpage post without explanation could easily mistake it for vandalism. Just some more WP red tape...
