Welcome![edit]

Hello, Boss Lady 416, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Léa Pool[edit]

Minor revisions necessary.

  • Excellent list of sources and a good start on the writing.
  • Right now it's hard to distinguish between the sentences from the existing page and your new sentences, but when you move your draft to mainspace, make sure to only copy your new sentences.
  • The text of the existing page has many formatting errors and awkward formulations, so once you move your draft to mainspace, I encourage you to edit the existing text directly to make it correct and to make it flow more smoothly.
  • Film titles should always be in italics.
  • Make sure you use Wikipedia "Cite" tool to add references. If you are having trouble with it, please make an appointment and bring your laptop to my office so we can go through it together.
  • Right now it seems like you don't have at least 500 new words of prose. Go ahead and move your new text to mainspace (with proper citations) and keep working on adding additional text.

Referencing[edit]

You need to reformat your references as proper footnotes. Please see help:referencing for beginners. wp:RefToolbar/2.0 is an easy way to add. The tool is available on the default Wiki editor. When editing, click on the point where you want the citation to be, at the top of the editor, click "> Cite", then select the type of wp:template you wish to use. Then fill in the boxes with data. RefToolbar/2.0 uses the templates {{cite web}}, {{cite book}}, {{cite news}}, {{cite journal}}. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 04:40, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
