The premise of Marcionism is that many of the teachings of Christ (not Jesus - marcion treated Jesus as being distinct from Christ) are incompatible with Jewish law.

is being challenged. If you have a citation that supports the underlined part, please provide it. --Blue Tie 01:36, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The underlined part is basically just the statement of Docetism: Jesus and Christ are independent. I could have put "Marcionism was docetic", but then you'd have to look it up to work out what the significance was. Clinkophonist (talk) 17:00, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On second thoughts, "(Marcionism was Nestorian; it regarded Jesus as being distinct from Christ)" would probably read better; I've realised that I mean Nestorian rather than Docetic, although Marcionism was both (but the Nestorian aspect is more pertinent to the statement). Anyway it seems to have been dealt with now Clinkophonist (talk) 13:27, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kdbuffalo RfC[edit]

FYI, since you've shown some interest in the past: Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/Kdbuffalo_2 The Crow 02:25, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Apocalypse of Elijah, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Possible renaming of Wikipedia:WikiProject Saints[edit]

It has been suggested that the above named project be renamed Wikipedia:WikiProject Christian saints. Please express your opinion on this proposed renaming, and the accompanying re-definition of the scope of the project, here. John Carter 17:03, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Too Few Viewpoints[edit]

About a year ago, you created Category:Too Few Viewpoints. I have nominated that category for renaming, and I would like to ask/invite you to join the discussion at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 May 25. AecisBrievenbus 19:17, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The rename seems a better wording to me. Thanks. Clinkophonist (talk) 13:22, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
