Please don't remove hyphens from open source when it's a double adjective, per our house style and most authorities. Tony (talk) 07:58, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

September 2015[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to List of Android launchers, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Dodi 8238 (talk) 10:56, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to List of Android launchers. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Dodi 8238 (talk) 16:21, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

February 2020[edit]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to List of Android launchers. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. I guess it is more appropriate to give reference link from original developers sites. So i added them couple of years ago. I totally forgot I even edited this article. 🤔 Contact.Talal (talk) 00:38, 23 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Contact.Talal, this is about androidpicks.com, a website you appear to have been spamming since 2015, and again a week ago.
Which connection do you have to androidpicks.com? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 02:02, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Contact.Talal. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 02:01, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
