License tagging for Image:M72pobeda.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:M72pobeda.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:08, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:M20convertible.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:M20convertible.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:02, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Gaz-31022.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Hi DL24!
We thank you for uploading Image:Gaz-31022.jpg, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag, it may be deleted by an Administrator. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a copyright tag to the image description page. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

Fastback[edit]

Hi DL24,

Just to say thank you for fixing the error (the Cadillacs accidentally crossed the Atlantic in a previous edit) and also for adding the GAZ-M20 Pobeda, which is new to me. Maybe you would like to add a photo of the car to broaden the article's scope? Thanks! — Writegeist (talk) 01:42, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AN-94 Not replacing AK-74[edit]

Hi, I was looking at the AN-94 article and saw you also had that concern. I did a bit of research and found a book that says it is the official policy for the AN-94 to be the replacement, but in practice it may never be. And in fact it still (as of 2006) is not in production. I did an edit to reflect this. You had such a long comment about this in the talk page that I thought I would drop a line here for you.Theshowmecanuck (talk) 13:45, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. License tagging for File:KIM-10-50 pre-production.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:KIM-10-50 pre-production.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 03:05, 13 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
