Archives[edit]

Good news! Archives of my talk page will now be on Wikipedia because I have had enough time to consider such issues. When an archive is available, it will be placed as all others (in a subpage)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Vpicture.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Vpicture.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz S. (Talk) 20:22, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Archives[edit]

Hey Bellito, I noticed you don't archive on wiki, but delete them, and save them to your computer. This is probably not the best thing to do. Especially if you are warned for anything in the future (vandalism, 3RR, Image tags, copyvios), and you delete the warnings from your userpage, without moving them to an archive, it's a serious offense. Consider learning how to archive, and go for it :) Of course you don't have to, just a suggestion :) — Deon555talk 23:50, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good to hear! Let me know if you need any help with it, or post to the help desk :) Slater — DDeon555talk 06:29, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

wikignome[edit]

Yo, Bellito. I have decided that I want to be a WikiGnome. As I am new to this whole thing and haven't actually made any edits yet, I am hoping that maybe we can get together later and you can walk me through a new page and help me do some edits. I just want to get my wikifeet wet. I would also like to know more about Project Wikify. Girlfawkes 19:00, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

:o[edit]

Let me revert that! — DDeon555talk 00:17, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It won't last long :P — DDeon555talk 00:28, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • clicks link* Wow I know what you um whoa I didn't expect that :P Sorry! Sure I'll say hi to ur sis :D — DDeon555talk 04:36, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ello again, Bellito, how goes things? Listen, I was wondering if I could call upon your services again... I updated my /Userboxen page again.. and if I used the <div></div> tags, it went all funny (squashed them into the babel one), and if I used {{center}} It just had an empty paramater ( {{{1}}} ), which sucked. So yeah, if you could do that, it'd be awesome. Also, if you can actually talk me through it, would be even better :)Deon555talkdesk 23:38, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, okies, firstly: I hate linux with a passion :P I just use Puppy Linux as a LiveCD on my other computer, the DBC on this computer is XP and Vista. Secondly: you do what ever is good :) I don't mind if you add a few of your own choice, as long as you get the numbers right, I can then change them to whatever is good. — Deon555talkdesk 05:22, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again, yep Vegemite sounds good :-) Thanks mateDeon555talkdesk 22:51, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism Warning[edit]

First of all, thank you for telling me my errors, apparentally I vandalized an article. I have no recolection of doing so, and If I have can you please tell me about it on my discussion page. Secondly, it is Wikipedia guideline to sign things with for tildes ~ Thanks, and if you can get back to me ASAP I would greatly appreciate it. Kaspazes 11:27, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for getting back to me and I am sorry for any inconvienence it might have caused you. Also, what do you mean that "someone else may have used your account..." What does that mean? I have checked the IP addreses that have logged in on my account, and can only find my own. Kaspazes 22:01, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Happy birthday[edit]

Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday, little brother. Hope you got everything you wanted (God knows you don't actually need anything!). Have the best year yet. Girlfawkes 04:06, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism in Club Penguin, I Agree With You[edit]

I agree with what you said about protection from vandalism in the talk page for Club Penguin...

I am always reverting vandalism from Club Penguin, since new users advertise penguins many times... But I would prefer semi-protection, since it would protect the article from new users and unregistered users, who are the ones that vandalize most.

Here is a list of all new users who have vandalized this article by advertising game-penguins (which wold, most probably, be their penguins):

I will keep an eye on them to revert their vandalism and warn them about the fact that they could end up being blocked if they continue vandalizig by advertising articles.

--TomasBat 14:35, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just a quick note. You did a revert right after I did on Bill O'Reilly (commentator). It looks like you were reverting the same vandalism I was, but it looks to me that you reverted to one of the vandalized version. I redid my reversion; if your revert was intentional, I apologize. - Fordan (talk) 15:32, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. Figured it was probably something like that, but wanted to be sure that it wasn't an intentional revert to bring back some accurate non-vandalized piece of information. I get nervous reverting a revert of a revert. - Fordan (talk) 17:54, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Quick note about your monobook[edit]

Thought I should draw your attention to this edit at User:Bellito/monobook.js. Looks like your speedy deletion script was accidentally transcluding {{db}} about halfway through the code. I've wrapped your monobook in "nowiki" tags, which should allow it to function normally without funny behavior like that. If this poses any problems, feel free to revert or find a better solution as you like. Apologies for the intrusion. – Luna Santin (talk) 17:21, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just so you know...[edit]

Everything posted on your talk page can be seen in the history, even if its not on an archive page. So if you get into trouble with something more serious than just speedy-delete tagging articles too quickly, don't think you can just delete it and slap one of your nutshell templates on it and it will just disappear. ***Clamster 21:58, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

dog toys[edit]

I was about to nominate Nobbly Wobbly and Loofa Dog for deletion as unsourced non-notable products of a single company, but you seem to have been working hard on them, so at the moment I'm just suggesting that you add sources--and external links. DGG 18:13, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have speedily deleted Image:Loofadog.jpg as a copyright violation since it is now orphaned after the AFD on Nobbly Wobbly, which included Loofa Dog and closed as delete. There was no indication that the original copyright holder released any rights to the image, and images found on Google Images aren't inherently free; see Wikipedia:Images for more. --Coredesat 04:16, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
