Can I build up an article over a longer time period ? I want to add more information and corresponding references as I learn the ways around here.

Yes, however you do need to put enough in the initial stub to show that the article is a worthwhile subject, and be prepared to demonstrate that it is important/notable. The article should have this information contained within itself.

Example of a notable article could be "Company X is ranked 5th in the fortune 500. ..."

Example of an iffy article is "Company X is opening on Jan 2008, come to our grand opening! (details follow) ...".

As long as the subject you write about can be demonstrated to be important/notable, the article is just considered a stub. —— nix eagle 12:09, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I read somewhere that television news is considered as 'reliable source', how is it verified ? I mean I see it on local tv news and newspapers but does it have to be published on the web too ? Danishctc (talk) 12:32, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
