Regarding your post on WP:Medicine -
Firstly, I want to voice my support that you are taking a proactive approach to your own health. It's not easy to do. Secondly, may I suggest that you have a chat with your doctor about the situation? You expressed some frustration that your husband wasn't willing to see a doctor about his condition, so instead of focusing directly about him, I think it's wise that you're inquiring about ways to protect yourself. Doctors aren't only there to deal with us when we're sick - they're also there to help keep us from getting sick. Your doctor should have the information on HCV that you're looking for, and be able to provide you with advice and tools to help keep you healthy in this situation that is clearly giving you some concern.
