August 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. You may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization.
  2. Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guideline to avoid editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. The article in question is Médecins du Monde. Thank you. (talk) 15:00, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Based on your recent edits your username also fails to meet the username guidelines due to representing and promoting http://www.doctorsoftheworld.org.uk. Please take some time to read the guidelines and take action or respond to these warnings before making any further edit. (talk) 15:13, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Aid do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. P. D. Cook Talk to me! 15:10, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in this edit to Health care. Inappropriate links include links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that serve as advertising or promotion. Thank you. Tommy! Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Humanitarian aid. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. P. D. This is your final warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you add inappropriate external links, as you did with this edit to Humanitarian aid. Tommy! [message] 15:54, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have blocked you for spam. If you wish to appeal, please use {{Unblock|Your reason here}}. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 15:59, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
