Edit warring[edit]

FYI, I try to follow WP:Revert only when necessary. The more others revert, the more I rely upon discussion and dispute resolution. If editors don't engage in the discussions, then I'll revert after a day or more. --Ronz (talk) 20:19, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Quoting from talk page
"I (and others) have responded to you by giving you (by now) multiple places that support the claim to no notability (multiple reliable sources are not
necessarily enough to justify notability, specifically when the case is related to WP:BLP1E, which I think is the case here). Your only response seems to
be "Nonsense" followed by "there is enough sources out there" (or some thing to that end). Please address the concerns provided, instead of just dismissing
and reverting. ~ Dr. Lords (talk) 20:20, 12 August 2010 (UTC)"
~ Dr. Lords (talk) 20:25, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No need to repeat yourself here nor there. Consensus isn't built upon repetition. --Ronz (talk) 20:36, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Nor is this consensus-building, especially when made after I started this conversation. --Ronz (talk) 21:02, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Where have you gone[edit]

You are missed from the Naveen Jain talk page, are you still around, your help is still needed. Thanks --Nightseeder (talk) 19:48, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, sorry for pulling out and not saying anything, but I found dealing with Ronz too frustrating, and don't care for the subject enough to "fight" for it. But if you go ahead and make an AfD as was suggested, and let me know, I'll come and express my opinion again. As a side note, you might want to look at this and maybe mention that Ronz removed the notice again, or talk to Chris (talk) directly as he said he would step in if there is a need. ~ Dr. Lords (talk) 17:42, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm setting up an AfD here --Nightseeder (talk) 23:43, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I was about to head out. So I might not have time to do it today, but I will respond tomorrow for sure. ~ Dr. Lords (talk) 23:46, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, I also created an event page for the InfoSpace dot com crash here if you are interested to comment or give feedback. --Nightseeder (talk) 23:50, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Will do. Also please feel free to review the articles I made (see my user page) and give feedback, thanks. ~ Dr. Lords (talk) 00:19, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
On second though I decided against involving myself in the AfD. Sorry if you were counting on my support, but he Naveen Jain page, and everything surrounding it is tainted by too much COI and other agendas, and it is too time consuming for me to want to get involved in. ~ Dr. Lords (talk) 20:47, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I see, though I'm sorry you feel this way, I can't say I don't understand where you coming from (I myself was contemplating pulling out, but "pride prevents me [though it is not pride alone as I still think the points I made are valid]). --Nightseeder(Chat). 22:50, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar awarded[edit]

The Biography Barnstar
I give you this Barnstar award for making three biographies that were on the WP:BIO request page.
--Nightseeder(Chat). 17:37, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much. :). Though not sought or needed, it is always appreciated :). ~ Dr. Lords (talk) 21:00, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You are welcome and you deserve it (IMO). --Nightseeder(Chat). 22:49, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Chaudhari-portrait-w.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Chaudhari-portrait-w.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:34, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have provided a rational when I uploaded the image, repeating here for your convenience, "found it on a .gov site and uploading it as a faithful depiction of a deceased person this is where I found it http://www.bnl.gov/bnlweb/pubaf/pr/2003/bnlpr051403.htm", the fair use terms state that if it is from a government site (.gov) it is OK to use as under the "fair use" guideline, as well as if it is a "faithful depiction of a deceased person" which in this case it is. If you have further questions or think this is not enough, please advise me ~ Dr. Lords (talk) 17:12, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Jsimpsonsig.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Jsimpsonsig.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:05, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New activity on Naveen Jain's page[edit]

Hi there, there is some activity on Jain's page and I though you might be interested to know about it and maybe help out again to get that page in order. Nightseeder(Chat). 22:05, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
