your (non) retirement[edit]

hey ehinger222, given you were back on board the other day, perhaps it might be an idea to log in when you make other edits. when anon edits from down your way reply to each other from different ip's making the same spelling mistakes etc. it looks a little dodgy.

welcome back, your contribution to the triseries debate was good, happy editing (sincerely - the more the merrier!). Dibo 04:00, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop blanking content[edit]

Hi there! Please stop blanking content in the Super League article. Regardless of the fact that you haven't heard of the term outside of its rugby league uses does not mean that it isn't a popular term for many different sports in many different parts of the world. The rugby league competitions are mentioned and the page conforms to Wikipedia's manual of style. Cheers hoopydinkConas tá tú? 13:22, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please consult the Super League talk page. I've posted a comment regarding the threat of an edit war on that page, and hope to encourage Hoopydink into the discussion. Ajcham 15:03, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

World Cups[edit]

Hi Ehinger222, I have changed the History of the RWC page again. The point of the lead is to show that union was the last out of cricket/soccer/union to start. It really has nothing to do with league. But I have included a mention of when the RLWC started in the page. So I hope that is fine. Also please stop going around changing RWC to RUWC, and giving the 1954 RLWC the title of RWC. It was not known as that, but was called Coupe du Monde Rugby XIII (Rugby League). You have made some good additions to wikipedia in terms of league, but please don't spoil it by making silly edits like changing links to Rugby Union World Cup. Rugby World Cup is the official name. Cheers. Cvene64 13:24, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up[edit]

Thanks for alerting me about the naming convention debate on Rugby Super League. Outside Center 02:48, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

French RL[edit]

"After WWII, some rugby union clubs were firebombed by treizantes seeking revenge and percieving rugby union clubs as collaborating elements. Some rugby union officials also felt the wrath of the general anti-collaberationist behaviour of post war France and were promptly shot."

Where have you find the above ??, pure dream from you !!!!!!!!!!!

I delete, jp from France (53 years in RL)

as the French rugby union collaberated with the Nazis in northern France and the nazi puppets in the south of France.

It is clear that you don't know the vichy policy for sport and the other sport federations forbidden !!!!!!!!!
You take your dream for reality even if some RU managers had fascits ideas !!!
Are you sure that French RL have had no collaborionist RL managers ?? In France we are not sure !!!! because plenty of money to re-install the federation, the game, the clubs !!!!!

Sydney Morning Herald[edit]

I noticed you reverted my change to the Sydney Morning Herald's political leanings. Please explain why. The general consensus on the discussion page is that the paper is at least centrist politically especially when compared with other "conservative" publications like The Australian. I live in Sydney myself and read the paper most days and I too can say that it often does not approach political issues from the right and is probably more left leaning in its general world view.
