That is her legal name and I am updating the page with correct information. I am willing to discuss this further if you would like or find input from other editors, additionally we can make a formal dispute hearing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Dispute_resolution. Please let me know how you would like to purse this matter.

Wikipedia articles are required to be verifiable, and also use the common name that is found in media coverage. Instead of edit warring, which will simply get you blocked, please start a new thread at Talk:Nikki Catsouras photographs controversy.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 21:32, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I can verify that that is her legal name by the use of her death certificate. I can supply this if needed. Please let me know how I can go about having this change made. I appreciate your help!

This may be true, but a death certificate is a primary source rather than a secondary source. Wikipedia articles are usually based on secondary sources (media coverage etc) and these all seem to use the name Nikki Catsouras. This is why sourcing is important.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 21:40, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. Using death certificates falls not only under WP:PRIMARY sources but it also is original research WP:OR. WP:V is based on verifiability, not truth. Dr.K. λogosπraxis 21:47, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
