Doright

[edit]

Dear Generic69:

Yes, there is a history here. Over and over again, Doright has misquoted sources, given no citation or bad citations to authors, mangeled quotations, etc. In this case, he used the poem to attack fellow editors. If he did forget to cite, it is because he has a habit of doing so and has cost me a fair bit of time in trying to verify his quotes. Perhaps StanZegel's label of it as plagiarism is over the top, but it is not unreasonable to ask him to at least mention the attributed author of the poem. This all I did and then found myself under attack again and at length. I am hoping that Doright will now calm down a bit and try to work with us rather than simply screaming every time someone disagrees with him. --CTSWyneken 10:33, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well if there's stuff in articles that's not being cited then either citations need to be found or it should be removed. If someone quotes a famous poem as rhetoric on a talk page then que sera sera... Generic69 22:13, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article FairShare has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:GNG. This article reads like a personal essay and not an encyclopedia article. It just describes an idea someone came up with and a name for it, but does not cite any sources or provide reliable third-pary coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
