Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:OldTipTown Cemetery.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sdrtirs (talk) 17:06, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Marco Polo[edit]

Please do not delete valid references. If you can't present better sources to improve the article then don't worsen the article like you did. Your assertion that these sources are "non-factual" goes against the Wikipedia policy of WP:V (and frankly is bizarre in the case of the encyclopedia of play). We work from sources on Wikipedia, not personal knowledge. If you want pre-1975 sources (why pre-1975?) then go and find some. Fences&Windows 23:11, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please stop. If you continue to remove valid references, I will report you for vandalism. You do not own that page, no matter how long you've been editing it. If you cannot provide your own references for the topic, do not remove those that I found. Please read Wikipedia:Verifiability to understand Wikipedia's policy on the use of sources. January 2010[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Marco Polo (game). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Fences&Windows 02:28, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

While not being a 3RR violation, it appears from your edit history that there may be an issue of ownership. I would ask that you continue to use the talk page for content discussions; and please don't remove legitimate references for the topic (see WP:SOURCES). Thanks.
