September 2008[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Brian Schweitzer. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Mfield (talk) 22:07, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Response to your inquiry[edit]

Thank you for your post on my talk page. Allow me to explain my edit:

I removed the "Controversy" section because I did not believe it was well written (as well as the fact that such information did not seem to mesh with the flow of the article). Better encyclopedic writing in the "Controversy" section beforehand might have required me to give the section more consideration to the topic. This was not all that I done in my edit. I also re-wrote the "Governorship" section, removing many parts of the section as they were blatantly in favor. My overall goal was to return the article to a verifiable, NPOV status. I firmly believe that the end result was achieved, otherwise I would not have even attempted to make the edit. I do admit, it was quite a drastic edit, and I will attempt more caution before making any substantial edits.

Feel free to continue your dialog on my talk page if you wish. Before I conclude, I do wish to thank you for maintaining civility whilst writing on my talk page, I greatly appreciate that. Have a great week! DynamoJax (talk) 04:19, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
