I have put a Legitimate reference on a Legitimate Page of Field Commander on the Wikipedia Field Commander page. Our Forum is the only place where any Field Commander player can get a chance to discuss the game with other Field Commander players.

If this is Spam than any inclusion of External links on Wikipedia is spam.

Not really. You may wish to read out external links policy, as well as Wikipedia:Spam. Statements like "If you are a Field Commander enthusiast, you can join the Championships by joining the Forum at [1]" are promotional, and not allowed. I don't have any special power to stop him. I would suggest you try the first step of dispute resolution, which is talking to the other user. This may help resolve your conflict with them. Hi,

This user is ADAMOFEVIL on the official Field Commander Forum and has been harassing the Legitimate players there for the past 3 months. Any amount of reason with him was unsuccessful.

If you cannot stop him, then the only way (I guess) is to undo his deletions.

Wikipedia generally stays out of issues occuring at other websites, so I can say for certain that we cannot and will not take any action against this user for actions he has made on another site. If you feel he is vandalizing, you can use the escalating warnings against vandalism, found at Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace. (Before you do this, I would suggest that you read Wikipedia: Vandalism first, to be sure the user is actually vandalizing.) If vandalism continues after a final warning, the user can be reported at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. I wouldn't worry about what he wrote on the discussion tab - unless he is blatantly attacking other editors, revealing personal information, making legal or physical threats, or libelling a living person, the discussion page should probably be left alone. You could archive it if you feel it is off topic; instructions can be found at Help:Archiving a talk page.

First let me say that the personal attacks toward me and false accusations on your discussion page are inappropriate. None of it is relevant to the fact that you keep on re-adding the "World Championship" section and a link to your personal discussion forums into the Field Commander Wiki page. There is no official "World Championship" tournament sponsored or supported by the game manufacturer, Sony Online Entertainment, and therefore it is inappropriate for you to advertise your own personal league let alone the results of it on the Wiki page for Field Commander. The link to your personal, private discussion forums is also inappropriate, according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:External_links section "Links Normally To Be Avoided" #10. Failure to resolve the dispute will likely get you blocked from making further edits to the Field Commander Wiki page. You have already ignored the topic in discussion page on the Field Commander Wiki whilst making additional edits, and so this is the last attempt at resolution of this dispute before I bring in a third party.

Vandalism on the Field Commander page by ONE individual

Dear EvilSpartan,

This individual who is accusing us of putting wrong content on the FC page has been a perpetual trouble-maker on the Field Commander forum and has been banned repeatedly there.

We who run the League of Field Commander are from every continent.

(1) The argument of not having the Field Commander League on the Field Commander page will also hold good for not having the list of World Champions Marathon page or any other game or sport page. This is one individual who is harnessing us repeatedly since the past 3 months.

(2) The League is an Open Championship and any Field Commander player is welcome to join.

(3) It is the only Tournament held for Field Commander players and there is no other such tournament anywhere in the world.

(4) This individual here BlackBeard2k7 is only here to vandalise this page. If you check his history on Wikipedia, he has just done that and nothing else.

(5) He has made personal attacks and libeous statements against me on the FC discussion page.

The owner of the site has been known in the past for making hacking attempts on computers of users he does not like by using the IP address they used to register on his forums with. In addition, he has publicly harrassed other users on the official Sony forum for Field Commander, frequently accusing other players of cheating, threatening their family, using extreme vulgarity toward them and posting personal information about them in public.

His first argument of removing the League from the Wiki site was that users would get hacked. (Check the history of his edits). When that didn't work with the editors then he has come up with some new warped explaination.

Response to List and False Accusations

1) Marathon and Tennis champions are sponsored sports and televised. Please use another video game as comparison for your fabricated world champion debate. You are comparing apples to oranges. With regard to "harnessing" you for 3 months... my first edit on the Field Commander article was less than a week ago, and my edits to not fall into the category of vandalism.

2) The league is not open for any player. Case and point: You would not allow me or other users you falsely accuse to be "troublemakers" to register or participate in your tournament. Though this fact cannot actually be proved, it doesn't need to be, because it is made irrelevant by the fact that you cannot provide a reliable verifiable source for your world championship in the first place. As previously noted, discussion forums cannot be used as a reliable source of information.

3) That's wonderful for you. And there is still a link to the league on the Field Commander page. Users who are interestd in participating in a league will click the link and join your forum from there. (There is a link to the forum from that "unofficial league" web page, which is actually the welcome page for the league and his forum). Including an additional link directly to the forum with an advertisement of such forum is considered spam.

4) You need to carefully read this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wp:vand. My edits do not fall under the category of vandalism. On the other hand, your removal of comments on a discussion page could possibly be considered vandalism.

5) The statement that you claim to be a "personal attack" and "libelous" was removed from the article, and justly so. However, you removed it from a discussion page, where the policies of Wikipedia prohibit you to do so. If you wish someones comments on a discussion/talk page to be removed, you should request that they be removed (for which you were warned of on your own talk page). I did not refute it or revert the removal of the statement. Yet, you continue to post the statement on every discussion and talk page you can find. On the contrary, if you check your own talk page, there are several personal attacks against me in the form of false accusations and name calling. Everything I have stated so far (with the exception of the comment you quoted above) can be proved.

6) It has already been noted that your league page and forums are not a reliable source of verification

You should be addressing the issues being brought up about you on the actual discussion page for the article. Your talk page is not the appropriate location to be having this dispute, nor is anyone elses.

With regard to the RFC, it is a perfectly legitimate one. You have consistently reverted my edits, as well as administrator edits, and ignored warnings from administrators without appropriately responding to disputes. The RFC was not created as a method of harrassment. It was created due to your own misconduct on the wikipedia. With the exception of the quote that you keep repeating (which only now appears in places where you yourself posted it), everything I have edited has been perfectly legitimate. On the contrary, you are the one who now continues with personal attacks and false accusations. You have falsely accused me of being a "troublemaker", a "vandal", a "mischief monger" and some other user named "adamofevil" on your talk page. Yet my talk page contains no name calling or false accusations. Everything I have stated can be proved.

Also, with regard to your edit here http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=M.U.L.E.&diff=prev&oldid=151547422 it looks to me like you made the same personal attack and harrassment to someone else. You then almost immediately reverted that edit, and proceeded to accuse me of personal attacks. Ironic, isn't it?

What people do off-Wiki is not important as far as Wikipedia is concerned. WP:SSP or WP:RFCU is the place to go if you believe someone has inappropriately used multiple accounts. Unless you're willing to start a thread on one of those pages and provide some actual evidence, you need to stop making the claims on Wikipedia. His edits aren't clearly vandalism. I can see where what he is trying to do could be considered useful, so your claims that he's out to "destroy" the article (by removing a section about maps) is laughable.

(IF it's the same person) Until a couple days ago, he hadn't used the accounts in order to vote stack, or to avoid 3RR. It's not against policy to have multiple accounts, as long as they aren't used to gain an advantage. If he is using multiple accounts, one should be indefinitely blocked, and the other should be blocked for some period of time.
