- Which source? Plus I added it as "also known as" since this term has been since described as such for humans, albeit not much as Sebaceous for some. --Isalay (talk) 17:14, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
- It is not a common anatomical term used by physicians or anatomists, as the article discusses and defines sebaceous gland mainly as applicable to humans. "Oil gland" may be a common lay term, but this source discussed birds and non-human animals having scent glands. I don't think it is relevant to add a section on other oil glands to the sebaceous gland article. Zefr (talk) 17:53, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
- Zefr, I'd wager that Isalay looked at my contributions and saw that I'd edited the sex cords article. There, Isalay added a "Not to be confused with Sex card." disambiguation note.[1] "Sex card" is a redirect. But even if it wasn't one, I don't think there's a great risk of people confusing "sex cord" with "sex card". GBFEE (talk) 20:48, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
