Fair use rationale for File:Edge 2010.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Edge 2010.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nyttend (talk) 02:58, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:John Cena 2008.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:John Cena 2008.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore will not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used once again.
  • If you recieved this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.

Allan Perley

Please note that all articles on Wikipedia must be either properly categorized or tagged with {{uncat}} so that somebody who knows how to categorize articles can look after it. If you want the tag off the article so badly, you can find and add the appropriate categories — but until the page actually has one or more correct categories on it, the tag must stay on the article and will be readded no matter how many times you try to remove it. Categorization is not optional, nor is it something that you get to make your own special rules about on "your" article. Bearcat (talk) 22:58, 22 November 2010 (UTC)

There's no rush or anything to get it done right away. Just as long as the tag stays on the article until you or someone else does get around to it. Bearcat (talk) 23:19, 22 November 2010 (UTC)

Just a friendly word to let you know that Wales and England are separate countries. I made the changes to your article. I look forward to seeing reliable sources added to it in the near future. Best, Daicaregos (talk) 20:52, 27 November 2010 (UTC)

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 09:26, 17 August 2011 (UTC)

The article Allan Perley has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not the place for genealogical entries. Biography articles should only be for people with some sort of fame, achievement, or perhaps notoriety. Sources provided are self-published genealogical records.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
