Structure for Millerite articles[edit]

Hi, as a history expert I would appreciate your input on Talk:Millerites. I believe the scope and limit of each of the articles Millerites, Adventist, and Great Disappointment is not clearly defined. There seems to be some contradiction with the Seventh-day Adventist Encyclopedia. Is there three main types of information - the 1830s and 40s Millerite movement with its theology, the Adventist groups which emerged from it, and other influenced groups which do not call themselves "Adventist"? Great dissappointment[edit]

I read the discussion & it is unresolved & unconvincing. October 22, 1844 was not a "Great Disappointment" for the Bahai faith & hence their inclusion is irrelevant. I also not that neither the main Bahai page, nor the Bahai history page make any mention of the Great Disappointment, William Miller, or the date October 22. You might want to sort that out first. I was reading through Jeff3000's comments and I think I can be of help. In regards to the 'great disappointment' it is expounded upon at-length in William Sears' Thief in the Night beginning on page 5. William Sears is a prominent Baha'i author and was one of the Hands of the Cause, and thus I think qualifies as a Baha'i source, especially when considering Baha'i review requires approval before publication of such works. If you desire, I believe I can find an online source for it, or you can download it with the Ocean research library. I hope I have been of some help, I think that this subject bears including in the article but as I cannot claim to be speaking from a neutral POV as a Baha'i I was rather hoping it could be written in by a third party instead.
