Welcome to Wikipedia![edit]

Hello Jay De Hoyos! Welcome to Wikipedia!. I noticed that one of your first edits was to add yourself to a "username list" at User:Electroclass‎. Also, I notice that page seems to be a sort of "networking page" for folks in your MUSIC E-145 class. Now, please don't take this the wrong way, but I'd just like to let you know that Wikipedia is not a networking site. However, there are a number of projects that you could join, that have talk pages associated with them, to help you improve Wikipedia articles on music. One such project would be WikiProject Electronic music, and perhaps you would find that useful for discussing improvements or issues with current articles on your subject of study. Again, I hope you do not think I'm being unfriendly, as I'm truly not, I'm just hoping that you don't think that user's page is an official class project page. If you have any questions at all, feel free to contact me, and if you'd like a table of links to a variety of policies and guidelines here on Wikipedia I'd be happy to provide you that, as well. For a start, take a look at the Five Pillars of Wikipedia, and if you need any help, you can always visit the Help Desk for questions Wikipedia. Additionally, the 'Help' link on the left will lead you to the Help contents. Again, welcome, and happy editing! ArielGold 03:00, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
