October 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to History of the Jews in Ireland, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Islam in Ireland. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Autarch (talk) 21:29, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to The Troubles. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. AndrewrpTally-ho! 21:42, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia has a manual of style specifically for Irish-related matters - WP:IMOS. There is a specific section on the dispute over the names Derry and Londonderry - a compromise was reached where Derry is used for the name of the city and Londonderry for the county - see WP:LDERRY. This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did to SAM Song, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. January 2010[edit]

The is the one and only warning for this you will receive for posting copyrighted work to Wikipedia. Song lyrics are usually under copyright, therefore reproducing them here without permission is breaking the law. See Wikipedia:Lyrics and poetry: Most modern songwriters and poets have not released their works under an open content license and therefore their inclusion in Wikipedia violates their copyright.

If you continue to add lyrics to Wikipedia, without first determining they are not under copyright, you will be blocked from editing. If you do not understand copyright, then please stop adding any material you have copied to Wikipedia. Thanks. Rockpocket 01:50, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
